Protect Black Families. Protect Our Homes. Protect Our Rights.

We, the undersigned residents and community members, demand immediate action regarding the alleged illegal sale of an affordable housing unit occupied by Rachel Fann, a Black single mother and long‑term resident of Monmouth County.

Affordable housing units built with federal tax dollars must not be sold, reassigned, or converted without due process. These actions destabilize families, violate public trust, and disproportionately harm Black residents.

We call for:

  1. A full investigation into the sale or transfer of Miss Fann’s unit

  2. A statewide audit of all affordable housing units built with public subsidies

  3. Enforcement of civil rights protections for Black families facing displacement

  4. Accountability from property managers, housing authorities, and elected officials

  5. Stronger tenant protections to prevent future abuses

We stand with Sister Fann.

Her story reflects a broader crisis affecting thousands of New Jersey families. We demand justice, transparency, and protection for all vulnerable residents.
