  • Where to Apply: Applications must be picked up in person at the Ironworkers Local 399 Union Hall, located at 26 E Fleming Pike, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

Minimum Qualifications

To apply, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Hold a valid New Jersey driver’s license.

  • Reside within Local 399’s jurisdiction.

  • Be able to climb and work at heights and pass a physical agility exam.

  • Pass a drug test.

  • Pass the Flanagan Industrial Written Exam.

  • Complete an interview with the JATC Board Representatives.

Required Documentation

Make sure your application includes:

  • A copy of your valid New Jersey driver’s license.

  • High school transcripts.

  • Veterans must provide a copy of DD-214.

  • A doctor’s note clearing you for heavy work.

  • Proof of current address.

Applications missing any required documents will not be considered, and no applications will be accepted after May 31st.
