Karen Brittingham-Edmond, I remember being on call at the hospital that day. I had already worked a triple that week. But because of the extraordinary situation, I was called in. I was an experience Surgical Tech, Anesthesia Tech, & Patient Care Associate Pre & Post Surgical Tech at the time. Before returning to work, I ensured my children were safe and secure at home with plenty of food to eat. On a side note, I worked 12-hour night shifts; when I usually got home, I would fall fast to sleep. But on 9/11/2011, I didn't sleep at all.
