Newark, NJ - In some great place in my heart, I would be pleased to know that one word of one sentence, of one paragraph, of one article that I've published through the "Relaunched Echo" has touched just one reader's soul. It would please me even more to know that whatever those words were also got them through whatever trial life had thrown at them, and they've overcome the obstacle at hand, never once doubting their place in society. I can truly say that writing for this publication is and has been the greatest honor of my life and I plan on continuing my path to literary success one Echo at a time. But we at The Echo will not garner the success this iconic piece of NJ Black History deserves unless our neighbors, fellow statesmen & women, brothers & sisters in faith & friends help reverberate the legacy that began in 1904 with Mr. William Elijah Rock.

• Revived New Jersey’s oldest Black‑owned newspaper (circa 1904): Echo News TV LLC relaunched The Echo Press, preserving and modernizing one of NJ’s most historic Black-owned publications. Reference: https://www.echonewstv.com

• Recognized by Montclair State University / Black Publishers Collective:  Echo News TV LLC was awarded a grant partnership that led to its articles being featured in the Center for Cooperative Media’s statewide Daily News Roundup. Reference: https://www.echonewstv.com

Now, with so much history associated with The Echo, from the 8th oldest black-owned press nationally & the oldest black-owned press in NJ, why hasn't this American literary icon reached the success it truly deserves? Funding. This is where we need our valued readers, neighbors, fellow statesmen & women, brothers & sisters in faith, and friends to step in with help. We at The Echo know it would be an injustice to ask for more than our readers could afford, so we would like to point out that funding also comes in more ways than just donating your spare change.

It can also come in the form of taking time out of your day to read a new article or catch up on past articles that you missed.
