Tiasia has joined the writing team of the relaunched Echo, rebranded as Echo News T.V. L.L.C. Newman brings a wealth of knowledge and has “built a rapport with some of the most influential people next in line to run the entertainment world.” Tiasia grew up in Asbury Park, N.J. Her loving family has supported this industrialist young lady since she opened her first hair salon at age 14. Tiasia’s Grandmother, Gwen Newman, sang with the Golden Korvettes, a favorite gospel group of Monmouth County A.M.E. and Baptist Church goers in the 60s and 70s.
Tiasia is the mother of one son Michael Dickerson III who is a sensational artist in his own right!
