For Veronica, On the Light of Timothy

In the quiet hush of morning, Veronica remembers—the weight of hope, the ache of worry, the joy that burst from Timothy’s smile, bright as Christmas lights in a world too often dimmed by shadows of injustice.
She spoke of all her children with pride stitched into every word, but Timothy—her oldest son —carried a strength that radiated, kindness spilling from his hands to friends, to strangers, to a world that sometimes looked away.
She watched him grow, each day a prayer, each night a silent plea for safety, for dignity, for the right to simply be.
In a country that too often measures worth by skin, Veronica’s love was a shield—soft, fierce, unyielding—against the careless winds of discrimination.
Now, in the stillness, she feels the empty space where Timothy’s laughter once lived, but she holds his light close, lets it warm her aching heart, remembers how he lit up every room, how his spirit—unbroken—remains a beacon for all who loved him.
Veronica’s love endures—a testament, a legacy, a mother’s hope that the world will one day see her children as she always has: brilliant, beautiful, worthy of every joy.
Continued prayers for the Ellis -Smith Family.
