James Jerome Hankins Excerpt From My Book: “What We Blacks Need to Do Part 2”

As parents and students gear up to register and vote in the midterm elections on November 3rd, 2026, we stand at a crucial juncture. All 435 House and 33 Senate seats are up for grabs. With your support, we can take back the House and Senate, and yes, we can and will impeach (The Undertaker) Trump! https://books.friesenpress.com/store/title/119734000192707090/James-Jerome-Hankins-What-We-Blacks-Need-To-Do-Part-2

Lesson #20 of 44: Today's Word is MODUS OPERANDI.

This term refers to the expected behavior or the way we do things. Back in Williston Senior High School and NC A&T State University, I learned to recite lines from William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. You may remember, “Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears.” Just as Brutus came to “bury” Caesar, not to praise him, Trump’s modus operandi has been to “bury” the hopes and livelihoods of everyday folks—my family, my friends, and anyone whose net worth is less than $400,000.

The presidents actions reflect a disturbing pattern of neglect and betrayal, earning him an A+ in mismanagement.

Let's examine 16 lies related to President Trump:

1. Did he release the files on his long-time associate Epstein, a known predator? No.

2. Did he put an end to the starvation and genocide in Gaza or the bombings of schools and hospitals in Ukraine? No.

3. Did he lower grocery prices at places like Food Lion, Harris Teeter, or Wegmans? No.

4. Did he cut taxes for the middle class? No.

5. Did he stop school shootings? No.

6. Did he hold any corrupt members of his Cabinet accountable? No.

7. Did he express wishes of well-being to women or young victims, aside from Ghislaine Maxwell, who would support him to gain a pardon? No.

8. Did he denounce white supremacy? No.

9. Did he advocate for clean air, clean water, and free lunches for our children? No.

10. Did he fight to increase minimum wages for working-class Americans? No.

11. Does he respect and support veterans like myself? No.

12. Did he uphold women’s reproductive rights? No.

13. Did he ensure that some of the 17 million who voted for him could stay on Medicaid? No.

14. Did he protect over 150,000 civil service jobs that were slashed without due process? No.

15. Did he create more than 74,000 jobs in July? No.

16. Did he make America greater during his first seven months? No.

As my wise second cousin Craig reminds me,

“A king is not a king unless you bow and kiss his ring.”

Homework Assignment: Research the case of the Central Park Five. Had Trump wielded the power he has now back in 1989, those five young men could have faced a fate just like the innocent 14-year-old Emmett Till endured in 1955. https://www.echonewstv.com/post/the-face-of-ethics-kevin-richardson-demands-an-unequivocal-apology-from-donald-trump

As it says in Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”
