Keansburg, NJ - In a heart-stopping rescue on Seely Avenue in Keansburg, three terrified children, trapped by flames and smoke, leapt from a second-story window into the outstretched arms of heroic police officers and firefighters, their cries echoing the desperation and hope of the moment Friday, the 29th of August. Inside the burning home, first responders found an unconscious woman—believed to be their mother—lying in a back room, her life hanging by a thread. With unwavering courage, firefighters pulled her from the inferno and began CPR, fighting to bring her back as she was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. The children, though shaken and suffering from smoke inhalation, survived thanks to the bravery and quick action of Keansburg's finest, even as one officer sustained potentially permanent injuries in the line of duty. The community now holds its breath, praying for the mother's recovery and honoring the selfless heroes who risked everything to save innocent lives from the flames. Monmouth County, NJ - As the 2025 New Jersey governor's race enters its final stretch, Mikie Sherrill has surged ahead of Jack Ciattarelli, now holding a nine-point lead according to the latest Eagleton Center poll. This dramatic shift comes as New Jersey voters—alarmed by the chaos and damage caused by Donald Trump's Administration's 2025 Plan, which is undermining North American diplomacy and democracy—are fleeing Ciattarelli and crossing over to Sherrill in hopes of restoring stability and trust. While the race remains competitive, Sherrill's growing support among women and communities of color, along with a significant number of independents, signals a decisive rejection of Trump-aligned politics and a yearning for leadership that will protect New Jersey's future while upholding federal immigration laws and mandates. Lacey Township: The heartbreaking lawsuits against the Lacey Township Board of Education and the Archdiocese of Newark reveal the devastating consequences of failing to protect children from predators, as two young sisters were sexually abused by a trusted teacher and former priest, Fr. Lawrence Gadek, at their elementary schools. This tragic case underscores the urgent importance of keeping children safe from pedophiles and the absolute necessity of immediately reporting any suspicions or signs of child abuse to authorities. Protecting our children requires vigilance, open communication, and swift action—no concern is too small when it comes to their safety and well-being. Colon Cancer Screenings in the Black Community

ree

BlackDoctor.Org - Chadwick Boseman's untimely death from colon cancer has become a powerful wake-up call for Black men, highlighting the urgent need for early colon cancer screenings as emphasized by BlackDoctor.org. Black men are more likely to be diagnosed with advanced colon cancer, which shortens life expectancy, primarily due to lower screening rates, barriers to healthcare, and misconceptions about the invasiveness of the procedure. Boseman's legacy has raised awareness about the importance of recognizing symptoms and overcoming fears around screening, reminding the Black community that early detection can save lives. His story, along with his brother Kevin's remission, underscores the hope and necessity of proactive health measures—encouraging Black men to prioritize screenings and protect their futures.
