Meditations & Hope

Seeing

Dear Heavenly Shepherd,

Thank You for seeing me and understanding my needs more deeply than I even do. Calm my anxious heart and quiet my restless spirit. Lead me beside still waters where my soul finds restoration.

Anchored in Hope: Jesus' Reassuring Words to His Disciples

Jesus' words to His disciples come as both a reality check and a heartwarming reassurance. Yes, we will face difficulties; that’s the undeniable truth. But He doesn’t stop there. Jesus punctuates His statement with a divine promise: "Take heart! I have overcome the world."

In the middle of whatever hardship we're going through, these words are our lighthouse, shining hope and guidance. They remind us that we are anchored to One who is greater than anything we will ever face. It’s as if Jesus is saying, “Don’t just brace for impact; prepare for victory.”

The Power of Showing Up for Jesus

Dear Heavenly Shepherd,

Thank You for seeing me and understanding my needs more deeply than I even do. Calm my anxious heart and quiet my restless spirit. Lead me beside still waters where my soul finds restoration.

The Message

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Enter, you who are blessed by my Father! Take what’s coming to you in this kingdom. It’s been ready for you since the world’s foundation. And here’s why:

I was hungry and you fed me,

I was thirsty and you gave me a drink,

I was homeless and you gave me a room,

I was shivering and you gave me clothes,

I was sick and you stopped to visit,

I was in prison and you came to me.’

He's in the sunrise that takes your breath away, the unexpected kindness of a stranger, the quiet strength that rises within us when we need it most. (Picture Source: Wix Media)

Mr. Davis is a man who is paralyzed from his chest down. But he wasn't always this way. He once worked as an engineer coding robotics for surgeons and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 39. Despite a series of unfortunate events, David has developed a unique insight, wisdom, plus faith in God that will provide our readers hope when feeling hopeless. Love when feeling loveless. And strength when feeling weak. Mr. Davis will provide relaunched Echo readers with weekly shares that we encourage you to support by reading his gentle memoirs and thoughts of inspiration. Kindly, Karen.
