New Jersey - Let me speak plainly. What happened in Tennessee is not politics. It is not partisanship. It is not “business as usual.” It is the resurrection of an old ghost — the same ghost that once wore white sheets, burned crosses, and wrote laws designed to keep Black people in their place. https://www.echonewstv.com/post/the-five-civil-rights-fronts-under-attack-how-doge-white-supremacist-governance-and-sta

Only now, the sheets are replaced with suits. The crosses were replaced with congressional maps. The mobs were replaced with troopers clearing balconies and arresting brothers of elected officials. And in Washington, DOGE has been quietly pulling out the nails that hold the floorboards of democracy together. MAGA loyalists call for Obama to be imprisoned over public appearance

This is not a coincidence. This is coordination. But here is what the architects of suppression always forget: Black American citizens do not scare easily.   We have survived worse. We have outlived worse. We have buried worse. Memphis will fight. Tennessee will fight. The nation will fight. Because every time America tries to slide backward, the descendants of the enslaved rise up and say, “Not this time. Not on our watch.”

A storm is coming. Not the storm of chaos — but the storm of accountability.

And when it arrives, the ancestors will be standing in the rain with us.
