Jacquelyn Price Ward, president of the Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund (CTPF) Board of Trustees, was honored with the Chicago Defender’s 2026 Women of Excellence Award at a March 20, 2026 ceremony recognizing 51 local Black women leaders. A longtime educator and advocate, Ward helps steward CTPF’s $13.7 billion in assets on behalf of 98,000 members.
